SURGICAL AND MEDICAL MISSIONS:
ABA Foundation conducts Free Surgical and Medical Camps to help with Patient Care, and offer further training to the Local Healthcare Providers.
The Medical camps include treating poor adults and children patients with complex surgical pathology. The medical teams also provide supplies to vulnerable orphans and destitute children, and other needy persons at different places in Uganda.
ABA Foundation is dedicated to saving lives and improving health care in Africa by providing free medical health care for those in need in under-served communities, and teaching and training the local doctors and nurses on modern aspects of Patient Care and treatment.
ABA Foundation conducts free Periodical free Surgical and Medical camps during which Medical Teams spend considerable time training the Local Doctors and Nurses on modern aspects of Patient Care and Treatment. ABA Foundation friends and well-wishers overseas also donated equipment to upgrade the Operating Rooms, Recovery Rooms, and other areas of Patient Services at Hospitals in different places.
The equipment includes Operating room tables, Anesthesia machines, Electrocautery machines, Anesthesia patient monitors, Recovery room patients monitors, Suction machines, Hundreds of clinic patient vitals monitors, transport stretchers, wheel chairs, shelves, and large sum of disposable supplies to treat hundreds of poor patients among others.
At the end of the medical camps, ABA Foundation teams receive a lot of praise from the hospital Managements, Patients, Local Leaders, and Governments, with requests for ABA Foundation to bring more medical teams to hospitals to help with Patient Care, and to Further Train the Local Healthcare Providers.
Our forthcoming free surgical and medical camps are scheduled to take place from November 30th, 2022 to March 30th, 2023 in different parts of Uganda.
We welcome all Medical Professionals and all categories of Health Workers, Medical and Non-Medical Volunteers to be part of our medica camps and to work at our Orphanages and homes of elderly, disabled and other needy persons. We welcome short term, like one week and long term, like 3months and more!
