Sanitary pads to end PERIOD POVERTY

KLC’s flagship project, The Pad Princess, requires sanitary pads to keep girls in school. It’s known that young ladies who cannot afford pads may miss between 50 to 60 days a year on their schooling whilst menstruating.
Girls resort to using rolled-up newspaper or old socks filled with sand or straw to manage their period. We need funding for menstrual products to ensure girls’ dignity, personal comfort and confidence to continue with learning for their future.
