Mandela Day – Sandwiches for the learners of Yeoville Community School

Our target is to make 967 sandwiches for the children of Yeoville Community School.
There is extreme poverty and hunger in this community, statistics show 95% of the parents of children attending Yeoville Community School, are unemployed. These are the children of Johannesburg’s waste-pickers, car guards and beggars; the children of the thousands of migrant families who have fled to South Africa in the hope of a better life.
