Koala Food Tree Plantation

SKER are planting specific eucalypt species on our 22 acre property that will be harvested to feed Koala’s in care.
Our purpose built wildlife rehabilitation centre can house up to 14 Koala’s at any given time, with an additional 5 enclosures planned soon.
Under our permit, we are required to provide 3 or 4 different eucalypt species daily to Koala’s in care. Harvesting eucalypt branches in our community is time consuming.
Our aim is to harvest all koala food from our property within 10 years.
