The Fire Fighters Charity has joined CharitySaver for online fundraising. CharitySaver is the new cost effective way for The Fire Fighters Charity to raise funds online. Their donor club provides benefits for our charity supporters, rewarding them for their kindness in supporting us. We are also currently exploring opportunities to reduce costs, using the other services that CharitySaver offer to Charities.

Warwickshire CAVA (WCAVA) was introduced to CharitySaver by Warwick District Council, After discussion with Ian Richardson it was clear to see the benefits of the fundraising service but also the option to explore wider savings on core costs through brokered relationship with industry partners. WCAVA has not traditionally fundraised for our services through donations, but like many evolve and change to sustain our service and are keen to see how the support of CharitySaver can evolve this. We are promoting this opportunity to VCSE groups supported by WCAVA and are pleased to see a number already benefitting from the offer – thanks for supporting the VCSE CharitySaver.

The reason we chose CharitySaver, is that we were with Virgin Money giving which, when we registered with them, took the least amount of money from every online donation. Now they are closing we needed to find a new platform. We went to a meeting where CharitySaver was discussed, and it was a no brainer to register. Not only do we get almost 100% (99.25%) from online donations but all the extra support and publicising that CharitySaver will do for us which is phenomenal.
